Hope Ikpoku Jr, a London based actor, has landed his first professional role in the latest season of Top Boy, executive produced by Canadian rapper Drake, which is due to hit screens this autumn.

A client of the Sylvia Young Agency, Ikpoku stars opposite actor Ashley Walters and rappers Kano, Dave and Little Simz in the London crime drama. His role in Top Boy is only the beginning, however, as he’s also playing the lead role in Ashley Chin’s debut feature film, Faith, and is currently filming the new series of Sky One drama Bulletproof, also starring Walters and Noel Clarke, while studying for his A Levels.
